Today is September 11, a day many Americans remember with anger, horror, sadness, and loss. Today is also a day that many Americans are dealing with the forces of nature. Many horrific events have happened and will undoubtedly continue to happen, but one thing is for sure, Americans remain Consistent. When tragedy happens we ban together. We do our best to help those in need. We are consistent. My thoughts and prayers are with all those in need today.
I have found with myself that being consistent is key for me on this weight loss journey. When I am consistent I move forward, when I’m not, it is like taking 3 steps back. I have also discovered that consistency is key when writing a blog. Here it is Monday and I did not write my usual Friday Morning Coffee, my bad. What if someone came to my blog looking for that and it was not there, they get pissed off and leave, so I could lose a reader. So consistency is very important and I am going to make a serious effort to be more consistent in my writing.
I remember sitting down at my computer on Sunday morning because I was checking out the football games when it dawned on me that I did not write my Friday Morning Coffee post. I completely spaced it, I thought, Well Crap, I will just change it to Sunday Morning Coffee, but no, I want to be consistent, so next Friday there will be a post.
The dictionary meaning to the word consistent is:
acting or done in the same way over time, especially so as to be fair or accurate.
unchanging in nature, standard, or effect over time.
